Amelia C. Walsh, CPA
Amelia (Amy) Walsh specializes in tax planning and compliance for individuals,
businesses, and estates and trusts. Amy's philosophy is to develop a close business
relationship with clients and serve as a trusted tax and business advisor on
an on-going basis throughout the year. Amy's twenty-nine years of experience
include working with complex individual tax matters and a diverse range of businesses
including professional services firms, government contracting firms, real estate
partnerships and construction related entities.
Amy joined the firm in December, 2004 bringing her solo tax practice of thirteen
years. Prior to being self-employed, Amy was a tax principal in a local CPA firm.
Ms. Walsh holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the
George Washington University. Following graduation she spent seven years with
the Washington, DC office of Touche Ross. Amy has an extensive history of involvement
in community activities and professional organizations including speaking engagements,
serving on various tax- related committees with CPA organizations, and serving
on the boards of several local charities and school committees.
